Daily Diary, Day 1078: It is almost lunch time, but the sun is only now coming out--albeit only intermittantly. Last evening when I walked, there was the typical bank of clouds hovering over the ocean, just waiting to come in, but there were also these odd little clouds right over my head, and to the east, over the mountains, there were a couple of tall thunderheads. Except for the bank of clouds over the ocean, all very unusual kinds of clouds for us here.
I actually did a little work on In Ddaera's Embrace yesterday afternoon, and I hope that I will get more done today before my scheduled 3 o'clock phone call. This morning I spent my usual Sunday cleaning and laundry, a total of 2 hours, but in 3 different chunks, which nicely kept my feet from hurting too much . Definitely not up for a morning walk, tho. But I keep reminding myself that the articles I read on how to stay healthy while aging say that it is fine to break up your exercise, and that cleaning counts!
I also interspersed the cleaning with editing posts I had drafted last week, so that the drafts are ready to go this week. This is part of my plan to be efficient as I get back in the swing of working on a novel.
Oh, and Amazon sent out an email about Dandy and the Dognappers being available for pre-order this morning, and I just looked and 65 people have bought it since then. So that's nice!
I also discovered how to make this cute little button that gets you to my website where you can go ahead and buy this book, or any other one that suits your fancy. I was going to have it say Buy My Books, but that seemed sort of cheeky.
But now time for lunch! But first, those puffy little clouds and some perky yellow blooms to brighten your day.
