Daily Diary, Day 709: Yesterday was finally hot enough to bring out the fans. I didn't walk because of a very bad arthritis flare up in toe, bad enough to make me worry I broke it. However, some advil cream and staying off of it for a day, has calmed it down enough that I did a gingerly 20 min walk this morning, so far, so good.
A couple of unanticipated phone calls, plus the heat, did slow down my writing yesterday, but still got 832 words written. If all goes well, maybe I will catch up today.
Last night watched episodes of Only Murders in the Building, Study 60, and started watching Joan and Darby. The latter is inoffensive, and having fallen in love with Bryan Brown in A Town Like Alice (40 years ago!!!) it was fun to see him as an older man (like 3 years older than me.)
And here is a hydrangea that is an incredible color. (I am proud that I have finally learned the name of at least one new flower!)

Wow! What an incredible bloom! Always good to read about your process, Mary Lou!
