Daily Diary, Day 951: I sent off the manuscript to my copyeditor this morning, 2 days early, so I’ve been doing a happy dance (and so as not to injure myself, I am putting up Leeza’s happy dance as my illustration!) I also had both a good night's sleep, after a day with no advil, and today I am feeling pretty much back to normal (regular aches and pains--smile). Might even go for a tiny (I mean 5 minute) walk in a bit.
This morning saw a new bird at the feeder, a tiny lesser finch, much smaller than the regular house finches we had already been getting. And I found the squirrel underneath the feeder eating from what has spilled on the ground. All delightful diversions.
I had two phone calls this morning, but nothing scheduled for this afternoon. And, while I have things on the to-do list I could do, I am going to soak my eye while listening to the Carl Hiaasen, then read the science fiction book I have been working on in the ten minutes before bed each night. This feels incredibly decadent!
You amaze me with all you get done every day and having health problems as well.
Love Leeza's happy dance! And impressed you were able to capture it!
